A great lil East Village establishment that will have you singing Galway girl and drinking Guinness all night long!
Ok not entirely true but I still agree with the first 6 words. My brother lives a block from this restaurant/bar and we come almost every time I visit him. The vibe is chill but fun. The staff are on top of it and are very attentive. In terms of the menu, the food selection is somewhat small but they only serve great food so I'm always more impressed when restaurants hone in on what they are masters at vs making everything in the kitchen sink. I LOVE their brussel sprouts side which is more like a meal than a side. My brother gets their sliders and fries at least once a week (see pic for proof). They might be mini, but they are mighty.
2nd Ave has a million different restaurants that you could choose to stop into, however, The Copper Still is not one that should be passed up. -

After an early dinner at Veselka, I wasn't ready to head home quite yet, so we wandered down the street and into The Copper Still. It was a gorgeous day, so the outdoor seating and happy hour caught our attention.
The indoor area looked so warm and inviting, and the people working there only served to enforce the warmth and invitation with their service. There wasn't any assigned seating though you do get serviced pretty quickly once you sit. The happy hour drink selection was pretty robust--wines, beers, and I believe discounted cocktails? The cocktail I had was too strong and dangerously delicious for me to remember the exact price, but the price wasn't so expensive that I remembered once I sobered up, you feel me?
We didn't end up eating anything there since we had already had dinner, but there are a few happy hour bites available. I would definitely come back again with a few co-workers in tow. This is such a chill spot in the East Village! What a find! -

This bar has an amazing ambience! This was my 4th stop on my October fest shenanigans. This bar is probably the most attractive thus far. The interior lighting is clean and modern, leaving for a nice impression. The bartenders were very friendly and served us quickly.

Great bottomless brunch place. Bartender was super nice and kept our drink filled. The food is good too. Would definitely come back with friends.

Sitting outside at the Copper Still is the way to go. The drinks are great, and so far I've only had the fish tacos but they are very good and I love that the fish is not breaded or fried in them. Has a nice kick as well. Friendly staff.
